Green Business School Hosts an Impactful Seminar titled “Business Graduates’ Career at RMG Sector”

On May 3, 2025, Green Business School (GBS) successfully organized a seminar titled “Business Graduates’ Career at RMG Sector” at 10:00 AM in Room A-302. The seminar was designed to enlighten students about the evolving opportunities in the Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector, one of the most significant contributors to Bangladesh’s economy. 

The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sharif Uddin, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh, attended as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tareque Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Green Business School attended as the special guest. The keynote speaker, Abdul Hakim, Chief Marketing Officer of Hoorain HTF Limited, delivered a compelling address, sharing valuable insights on career prospects, industry demands, and professional development pathways within the RMG sector. This engaging session fostered a better understanding among students about the skills and mindset required to succeed in the garment industry and broader corporate world.

The Green Business School also unveiled the “Business Icon of GBS 2025,” paying tribute to Nurul Quader, the pioneer of the Bangladeshi garments industry. The project highlights Nurul Quader’s significant contributions both as an entrepreneur and a patriot. Through this tribute, GBS aimed not only to honor one of the country’s most impactful entrepreneurs but also to inspire students to pursue entrepreneurship with vision and resilience.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Md Kamrul Islam, who appreciated the contributions of all guests, faculty, students, and volunteers. Overall, the seminar was a success, offering students both practical industry knowledge and motivational insights, aligning with GBS’s mission to foster future leaders and innovators.
