Industry Visit to PRAN-RFL Group: Bridging Classroom Learning and Industry Experience

The Department of Business Administration, Green Business School, Green University of Bangladesh, successfully organized an industry visit to PRAN-RFL Industrial Park, Danga, Narsingdi, on 16 August 2026. The visit was facilitated by Ms. Meherun Nesa, Assistant Professor, and attended by 31 students from the courses Career Planning and Development (HRM 411) and Introduction to Strategic Management (BUS 308).

The visit was designed to provide students with meaningful hands-on exposure to real-world business and industrial operations. Throughout the visit, students gained firsthand insights into large-scale production and manufacturing processes, operational management, modern machinery and automation, quality control, workplace safety, teamwork, sustainable industrial practices, and human resource management activities, including CV screening and recruitment.

As part of the experience, students visited four industrial units and participated in an industry briefing, interactive discussion, and question-and-answer session with the HR team. The visit concluded with a closing session involving the HR team and the Executive Director, providing students with an opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals and gain practical perspectives on organizational practices and professional expectations.

The experience enabled students to connect classroom theories with real-world practices, strengthening their understanding of organizational management, production systems, quality management, employee management, and professional workplace environments. Such industry exposure plays an important role in developing students' practical knowledge, professional awareness, and readiness for future careers.

The students expressed their satisfaction with the visit and appreciated the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals in an authentic industrial setting.
