Mentorship Program Inauguration & First Mentorship Meeting Green Business School, Green University of Bangladesh

The Green Business School (GBS) of Green University of Bangladesh successfully inaugurated its Mentorship Program on 17 February 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Multipurpose Hall of the university premises. The primary objective of this initiative is to provide structured academic guidance and continuous educational support to students through an effective faculty–student mentorship framework.

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tareque Aziz, Dean, Green Business School, and Dr. Mohammad Delwar Hussain, Chairperson, Green Business School. Their presence underscored the institutional commitment to fostering academic excellence and strengthening student engagement through mentorship.

The session witnessed an active participation of approximately 130 students from the 261 batch, reflecting a strong interest among students in engaging with the newly introduced mentorship structure. As part of the program, six student mentors conducted an informative presentation on the Student Portal, highlighting its academic utilities and functionalities. Additionally, they demonstrated the effective use of various Learning Management Systems (LMS), including Microsoft Teams and Google Classroom, to facilitate academic communication, resource sharing, and collaborative learning.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Faculty Mentor, Ms. Laila Ferdousy, Assistant Professor, Green Business School, who acknowledged the efforts of the organizing committee, faculty members, and student mentors for their valuable contributions in making the inaugural mentorship meeting a success.

Overall, the session marked a significant step towards enhancing academic support mechanisms and building a collaborative learning environment within the Green Business School.
