As part of its ongoing commitment to student engagement and academic preparedness, the Mentorship Program of Green Business School successfully conducted a Pre-Orientation Session for Spring 2026 on 31 January 2026 via the Zoom online platform.

The session was honoured by the presence of the Dean of Green Business School, Professor Dr. Mohammed Tareque Aziz; the Chairperson, Dr. Mohammad Delwar Hussain; the Programme Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Mohammad Tamzid; and the Mentor, Moderator and Assistant Professor, Laila Ferdousy. The event also witnessed the active participation of all BBA and MBA mentors of the Spring 2026 semester, along with the newly admitted students of the 261 batch.

The program began with welcoming remarks from the Dean, Chairperson, and Programme Coordinator, who shared inspirational insights and encouraged the new students as they embarked on their academic journey at Green Business School. Their messages highlighted the importance of academic discipline, ethical leadership, and student-centric learning in shaping future business professionals.

Following this, the Mentor Moderator formally introduced the mentorship framework, providing a clear overview of its objectives, structure, and support mechanisms designed to guide students throughout their academic life. Subsequently, mentors introduced themselves and engaged students by explaining essential academic and administrative matters, including class routines, student portal access, effective use of Microsoft Teams, and the university transportation system.

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, allowing students to clarify their concerns and receive immediate guidance from faculty members. Overall, the pre-orientation session played a vital role in fostering confidence, clarity, and a sense of belonging among the new students, ensuring a smooth transition into the Spring 2026 semester at Green Business School.
