Green Business School (GBS) in collaboration with the Green University Business Club (GUBC) has successfully organised the orientation program to welcome the newly enrolled students for the Spring semester of 2026. The event took place on 2nd February, 2026, at 11:30 am in the Admin Building, Syndicate Room# 409, Green University of Bangladesh.

The orientation began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, a thoughtful atmosphere. We were honoured to have Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Green University of Bangladesh, as our chief guest, who graced the occasion with a motivating and inspiring speech.  Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tareque Aziz, Honourable Dean of Green Business School graced the occasion with his words of wisdom and engrossed the audience with his compelling address. Dr. Muhammad Delwar Hussain , Chairperson, Green Business School adorned the orientation program as session chair, he gave the new students a sincere welcome and expressed the department's dedication to supporting them. Moreover, Mr. Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Professor, Green Business School, Director Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) delivered an inspiring speech to the newcomers.

The event's success was increased even further by the participation and enthusiasm of our distinguished faculty members and staff, who made the event memorable for our new students. The orientation session was well-received by the students, who found it engaging and informative. The program also shared the business department’s various activities which would sharpen the newcomers in terms of their interpersonal and career driven skills. Guardians of the new joiners were also appreciated and welcomed on stage to share their aspirations as well as the new student’s ambition.

Alumni interaction and bright students who participated in business competitions successfully representing the department were also highlighted in the orientation program. The orientation program was concluded with a Paper Plane Flying Activity of the new joiner’s where they wrote their dream job and flew the planes, signifying their initiation of a journey into higher standards of academia
